תכנית מלגות לתלמידי.ות מוסמך בפקולטה לחקלאות – תשפ"ה

החל בשנת הלימודים תשפ"ה (אוקטובר, 2024) יחולו הקריטריונים הבאים הנוגעים לסטודנטים.ות לתואר מוסמך מחקרי בפקולטה לחקלאות:

1. פטור משכר לימוד במוסמך במדעים הניסויים

כל תלמידי.ות המוסמך במסלול המחקרי הרשומים.ות בפקולטה לחקלאות, המקדישים.ות את מלוא זמנם.ן למחקר ומקבלים.ות מלגת מחייה של 3,500 ש"ח לפחות לחודש במשך שנתיים, ואשר לא סרבו למשרת הוראה שהוצעה להם.ן, יקבלו פטור משכר לימוד בהיקף של 200% שכר לימוד. הפטור יינתן גם בגין קורסי מוסמך שנלמדו במהלך לימודי הבוגר ו"מאוחסנים" עד הקבלה לתכנית המוסמך. הפטור ממומן מתקציב האוניברסיטה/הפקולטה, מלבד פטור בגין משרות הוראה שימומן מתקציב ההוראה של היחידות האקדמיות.

להבהרה – הפטור הנ"ל ניתן לכל התלמידים.ות במסלול המחקרי שאינם.ן עובדים.ות במקום עבודה אחר, ללא קשר לשיוך של המנחה וכולל תלמידים.ות המבצעים.ות מחקרם.ן במנהל המחקר החקלאי כל עוד הם.ן רשומים.ות באחד מחוגי המוסמך של הפקולטה לחקלאות.

2. תוכנית מלגות מוסמך (מלגות מצטיינים.ות)

• המלגות מיועדות לתלמידים.ות שיתקבלו לתכנית מוסמך מחקרי ויחלו ללמוד בסמסטר א' תשפ"ה. המלגאים.ות יידרשו להקדיש את כל זמנם.ן לעיסוק בלימודים ובמחקר ולסיים את חובותיהם.ן בתום שנתיים מתחילת הלימודים.
• זכאים.ות להגיש בקשה, תלמידי.ות בוגר בעלי.ות ממוצע 85 ומעלה שיבחרו ללמוד לתואר שני באחד מהמסלולים המחקריים בפקולטה לחקלאות (תלמידי.ות ביוטכנולוגיה ראו הבהרה בהמשך).

לתוכנית שתי אופציות:
- (א) סטודנטים.ות אשר לא יועסקו בהוראה (כמתרגלים.ות) יקבלו מלגה חודשית בסך 6000 ₪ למשך שנתיים, בנוסף לפטור מלא מתשלום שכר לימוד (ראו סעיף 1)
- (ב) סטודנטים.ות שיעסקו בהוראה כמתרגלים.ות, יקבלו בנוסף לשכר עבור ההוראה מלגה בגובה 5000 ₪ לחודש לפחות, כך שהמלגה והשכר עבור הוראה לא יפחתו מ 6500 ₪ בחודש . באופן הזה, תלמידים.ות שיבחרו לתרגל ירוויחו סכום גבוה יותר מאלו שלא יתרגלו. סירוב למשרת תרגול ישלול את הזכאות למלגה. חשוב להדגיש כי אנו רואים בתרגול של תלמידי.ות המחקר חלק אינטגרלי מהכשרתם.ן.

אופציה (ב) רלוונטית רק לסמסטר בו עוסקים.ות בהוראה כמתרגלים.ות. בסמסטר בו אין משרת תרגול המלגה תינתן לפי אופציה (א).

עבור שני המסלולים, הזכאות למלגה מותנית בהתחייבות המנחה לשלם לתלמיד.ה חצי ממלגת המחיה, וחצי מההשלמה למשרת הוראה, כאשר החצי השני מתוקצב מתקציב האוניברסיטה/פקולטה.
הזכאות להמשך המלגה בשנה השנייה מותנית באישור המנחה כי התלמיד.ה השלימ.ה את חובות לימודיו.ה בשנה הראשונה וכי הוא.היא צפוי.ה להשלים את לימודיו.ה לתואר מוסמך מחקרי בתום השנה השנייה ללימודים.

תלמידי.ות החוג העל-פקולטאי לביוטכנולוגיה

תלמידי.ות החוג לביוטכנולוגיה יגישו מועמדות לתכנית באמצעות המערכת המקוונת.
בתהליך ההגשה יש לציין מפורשות בטופס ההרשמה באתר ובמכתב הצהרה את הבחירה בחוג לביוטכנולוגיה, מועמדות זו תידון על ידי החוג לביוטכנולוגיה ובהתאם למכסות החוג (ולא לפי מכסות הפקולטה).
מי שלא יציין את השיוך החוגי, המועמדות שלו.ה תידון במסלול קבלת המלגות של חוגי הפקולטה.
מקבלי מלגות במסלול זה – המלגה מוענקת על ידי החוג לביוטכנולוגיה, במידה ואתם.ן מבקשים.ות לעבור לחוג אחר בפקולטה, המלגה תתאפשר על בסיס מקום פנוי בלבד.
למען הסר ספק - המעבר בין המסלולים אינו מבטיח המשך קבלת המלגה והינו כאמור על בסיס מקום פנוי בלבד.

בשנת תשפ"ה ( 2024-2025 ) יתקבלו לתכני ת מלגאים מצטיינים לפי מכסה שתיקבע. הזוכים.ות יבחרו ע"י ועדת המלגות של הפקולטה. חלוקת מלגות המצטיינים.ות תיקח בחשבון את הצטיינות התלמיד בתואר הבוגר,
את המוטיבציה והרקע הסוציואקונומי, ואת הגודל היחסי של כל יחידה בפקולטה, תוך התחשבות בעומס פעילות המחקר, ההנחיה וההוראה של המנחה. כמו כן, תינתן העדפה לתלמידים מקבוצות בעלות ייצוג נמוך באקדמיה.

הגשת המועמדות תעשה במערכת המקוונת. תאריך הגשה אחרון 1.9.2024

באם המכסה לא תמומש עד מועד זה תצא הפקולטה בקול קורא חדש להשלמת מכסת המלגאים.ות.

Scholarship program for MSc thesis track students in the faculty of agriculture – 2024-25 academic year

As of the 2024-25 academic year (October 2024), the following criteria will apply regarding faculty's MSc thesis track students:

1. Exemption from tuition for MSc students in the experimental sciences

An exemption of 200% tuition fee will be granted to all MSc thesis track students enrolled at the Faculty of Agriculture, who dedicate their entire time to research and receive a living scholarship of at least 3,500 NIS per month for 2 years and have not refused a teaching position offered to them. The exemption will be given also for master's courses taken during undergraduate studies and were "stored" until acceptance to the master's program. The exemption is funded by the University/Faculty's budget, except for the exemption for teaching positions which will be paid for by the academic unit's teaching budget.

To be clear – this exemption is given to all students in the research track that do not work anywhere else, with no connection to the attribution of the supervisor, including students doing their research at the ARO.

2. Scholarships for MSc students

• The scholarships are intended for students accepted to an MSc thesis track program that will begin their studies in the 2024-2025 fall semester (October 2024). The scholars must dedicate all their time to study and research and complete their obligations towards the degree within two years from the beginning of their studies.
• Eligible applicants are undergraduate students with a GPA of 85 and above that choose to study in one of the faculty's MSc thesis track programs (biotechnology students see clarification below).

The program has two options:

- (a) Students who are not employed in teaching (as teaching assistants) will receive a monthly scholarship of the amount of 6000 NIS per month for two years, in addition to a full exemption from the payment of tuition (see section 1).
- (b) Students who will be employed as teaching assistants will receive, in addition to the salary for teaching, a scholarship of at least 5000 NIS per month, in a way that the scholarship and salary for teaching will not be not less than 6500 NIS per month. In this way, students who assist in teaching will earn a higher amount than those who don't. Refusal to the position of teaching assistant will deny eligibility for a scholarship. It is important to emphasize that teaching assistance is an integral part of the training of research students in the faculty.

Option (b) is only relevant for a semester with a teaching assistant position. In a semester without a teaching position, the scholarship will be awarded according to option (a).

In both tracks, eligibility for a scholarship is conditional on the supervisor's obligation to pay the scholarship recipient half of the monthly scholarship and half of the supplement for a teaching position. The other half will be paid from the university's/faculty's budget.
Eligibility for the continuance of the scholarship during the 2nd year is conditional to the supervisor's approval that the student completed his/her obligations during the 1st year and that he/she is to complete his/her MSc thesis track studies by 31.12.2026, the end of the 2nd year of studies.

Students of the interfaculty biotechnology program

The students of the interfaculty biotechnology program will apply for the program through the online system.
In the registration form on the website, the selection of the biotechnology program must be explicitly indicated. For those who do not indicate the affiliation of the department, their candidacy will be discussed as part of receiving the scholarships of the faculty's departments.
Recipients of scholarships in this track - the scholarship is awarded by the Program of Biotechnology and in accordance with its quota. If you wish to transfer to another study program in the faculty, the scholarship is based on available space only.
To avoid doubt, the transition between the tracks does not guarantee continued receipt of the scholarship and is based on an available place only.

Scholarship recipients will be accepted to the program in the 2024-25 academic year according to a quota that will be determined. The faculty's scholarship committee will select the recipients. Factors that will be considered: undergraduate studies excellence, motivation, social-economic background, and the ratio of the faculty's unit size. In addition, preference will be given to students from populations with low representation in the academy. Remarkably, the research and teaching load of the supervisor will be also considered.

Candidates are to submit their applications online. Submission deadline: September 1st , 2024

In case not all scholarships will be applied for by the deadline date, the faculty will publish another call for applications.
