מסיימי תואר B.A בפקולטה לחקלאות
שלום רב,
הנדון: תכנית מלגות לתלמידי מוסמך בפקולטה לחקלאות ופטור משכ"ל – תשפ"ג
החל בשנת הלימודים תשפ"ג (אוקטובר, 2022) יחולו הקריטריונים הבאים הנוגעים לסטודנטים לתואר מוסמך מחקרי בפקולטה לחקלאות:
- פטור משכר לימוד במוסמך במדעים הניסויים
כל תלמידי המוסמך במסלול המחקריהרשומים בפקולטה לחקלאות, המקדישים את מלוא זמנם למחקר ומקבלים מלגת מחייה של 3,500 ש"ח לפחות לחודש במשך שנתיים, ואשר לא סרבו למשרת הוראה שהוצעה להם, יקבלו פטור משכר לימוד בהיקף של 200% שכר לימוד.
הפטור יינתן גם בגין קורסי מוסמך שנלמדים במהלך לימודי הבוגר ו"מאוחסנים" עד הקבלה לתכנית המוסמך. הפטור ממומן מתקציב האוניברסיטה/הפקולטה, מלבד פטור בגין משרות הוראה שימומן מתקציב ההוראה של היחידות האקדמיות.
להבהרה – הפטור הנ"ל ניתן לכל התלמידים במסלול המחקרי שאינם עובדים במקום עבודה אחר, ללא קשר לשיוך של המנחה וכולל תלמידים המבצעים מחקרם במנהל המחקר החקלאי כל עוד הם רשומים באחד מחוגי המוסמך של הפקולטה לחקלאות.
- מלגות מוסמך לסטודנטים מצטיינים
- המלגות מיועדות לתלמידים שיתקבלו לתכנית מוסמך מחקרי ויחלו ללמוד בסמסטר א' תשפ"ג. המלגאים יידרשו להקדיש את כל זמנם לעיסוק בלימודים ובמחקר ולסיים את חובותיהם לתואר עד 31.12.24 (בתום שנתיים מתחילת הלימודים).
- זכאים להגיש בקשה, תלמידי בוגר בעלי ממוצע 85 ומעלה שיבחרו ללמוד לתואר שני באחד מהמסלולים המחקריים בפקולטה לחקלאות (לא כולל התוכנית בביוטכנולוגיה/ננוטכנולוגיה – למלגות אלו יש מכסת מלגות ייעודית).
לתכנית שתי אופציות:
- (א) תלמידים אשר לא יועסקו בהוראה (כמתרגלים) יקבלו מלגה חודשית בסך 6000 ₪ למשך שנתיים, בנוסף לפטור מלא מתשלום שכר לימוד (ראו סעיף 1).
- (ב) סטודנטים שיעסקו בהוראה כמתרגלים, יקבלו בנוסף לשכר עבור ההוראה מלגה בגובה 5000 ₪ לחודש. באופן הזה, תלמידים/ות שיבחרו לתרגל ירוויחו סכום גבוה יותר מאלו שלא יתרגלו . סירוב למשרת תרגול ישלול את הזכאות למלגה. חשוב להדגיש כי התרגול מהווה חלק אינטגרלי מההכשרה של תלמידי המחקר בפקולטה.
עבור שני המסלולים, הזכאות למלגה מותנית בהתחייבות המנחה לשלם לתלמיד חצי ממלגת המחייה.
הזכאות להמשך המלגה בשנה השנייה מותנית באישור המנחה כי התלמיד השלים את חובות לימודיו בשנה הראשונה וכי הוא צפוי להשלים את לימודיו לתואר מוסמך מחקרי עד 31.12.24, בתום השנה השנייה ללימודים.
בשנת תשפ"ג (2022-2023) יתקבלו לתכנית עד 55 מלגאים מצטיינים. הזוכים יבחרו ע"י ועדת המלגות של הפקולטה. חלוקת מלגות המצטיינים תיקח בחשבון את הצטיינות התלמיד בתואר הבוגר, את המוטיבציה והרקע הסוציואקונומי, את הגודל היחסי של כל יחידה בפקולטה, תוך התחשבות בעומס פעילות המחקר, ההנחיה וההוראה של המנחה.
תינתן העדפה לתלמידים מקבוצות בעלות ייצוג נמוך באקדמיה ולנשים.
הגשת המועמדות תעשה במערכת המקוונת. תאריך הגשה אחרון 31.5.2022
באם המכסה לא תמומש עד מועד זה תצא הפקולטה בקול קורא חדש להשלמת מכסת המלגאים.

Re: Scholarship program for MSc thesis track students in the Faculty of agriculture 2022-23 academic year
As of the 2022-23 academic year (October 2022), the following criteria will apply regarding faculty's MSc thesis track students:
- Exemption from tuition for MSc students in the experimental sciences
An exemption of 200% tuition fee will be granted to all MSc thesis track students enrolled at the Faculty of Agriculture, who dedicate their entire time to research and receive a living scholarship of at least 3,500 NIS per month for 2 years and have not refused a teaching position offered to them. The exemption will be given also for master's courses taken during the undergraduate studies and were "stored" until acceptance to the master's program. The exemption is funded by the University/Faculty's budget, except for the exemption for teaching positions which will be paid for by the academic unit's teaching budget.
To be clear – this exemption is given to all students in the research track that do not work anywhere else, with no connection to the attribution of the supervisor, including students researching at the ARO.
- Scholarships for MSc students
- The scholarships are intended for students accepted to an MSc thesis track program that will begin their studies in the 2022-2023 fall semester. The scholars must dedicate all their time to study and research and complete their obligations towards the degree by December 31, 2024 (within two years from the beginning of their studies).
- Eligible applicants are undergraduate students with a GPA of 85 and above that choose to study in one of the faculty's MSc thesis track programs (not including *biotechnology/nanotechnology).
The program has two options:
- (a) Students who are not employed in teaching (as teaching assistants) will receive a monthly scholarship in the amount of NIS 6,000 for two years, in addition to a full exemption from the payment of tuition (see section 1).
- (b) Students who will be employed as teaching assistants will receive, in addition to the salary for teaching, a scholarship in the amount of NIS 5,000 per month. In this way, students who choose to assist in teaching will earn a higher amount than those who do not. Refusal to the position of teaching assistant will deny eligibility for a scholarship. It is important to emphasize that teaching assistance is an integral part of the training of research students in the faculty.
Eligibility for two scholarship options is conditional on the thesis supervisor's obligation to pay the scholarship recipient half of the monthly scholarship, the other half will be paid from the university's/faculty's budget.
Eligibility for the continuance of the scholarship during the 2nd year is conditional to the advisor's approval that the student completed his/her obligations during the 1st year and that he/she is to complete his/her MSc thesis track studies by 31.12.2024, the end of the 2nd year of studies.
55 scholarship recipients will be accepted to the program in the 2022-23 academic year. The faculty's scholarship committee will select the recipients. Factors that will be considered: undergraduate studies excellence, motivation, social-economic background, the ratio of the faculty's unit size, while consideration of the research load, supervision, and instruction of the advisor.
Preference will be given to women and students from populations of low representation in the academy.
Candidates are to submit their applications online. Submission deadline: 31.5.2022
In case not all 55 scholarships will be applied for by the deadline date, the faculty will publish another call for applications.
*Biotechnology students who are interested in applying to the program will be able to register within the Faculty of Agriculture, we will handle the applications with the Department of Biotechnology.
